MedFirst Hospitalists
Our MedFirst Hospitalists are special trained physicians who ensure you receive the proper level of quality medical attention during your hospital stay. Their sole focus is your inpatient care to include coordination of any necessary consults with specialty physicians. You may also be assigned a Hospitalist if you are admitted to the emergency room, and you don’t have a primary care physician. With the growing demands in private and group practices, it has become difficult for many primary care providers to provide the additional time needed for the inpatient care.
The Hospitalists work exclusively in the hospital, therefore can provide continuous, hands on care to their patients to ensure you or your loved one get the best and efficient care on a day to day basis. When ready for discharge, the Hospitalist will work back with your primary care physician to give them a full report on your discharge and any follow up needed back in their office.
